I second that! NBC had a great ad running last weekend promoting the new season of FNL - which started last Friday night. I've been a little under the weather - and doped up on cold medicine - so it slipped my mind on Friday and I'm bummed. I hope they'll rerun it! Any word on how the series did ratings-wise while it was on DirecTV? What a score for the series to land Janine Turner in a guest role. I've loved her work since Northern Exposure... Bethany |

Kyle Chandler building home in Austin; Dog whisperer becomes a U.S. citizen, Aniston and Mayer split
COMPILED BY CLARE WOOD Friday, March 13, 2009 'FNL' pair building house "Friday Night Lights" star Kyle Chandler and his TV writer wife, Katherine, said they are building a house west of Austin. The couple confirmed their plans during an interview at the St. Cecilia Hotel for the Beyond the Lights Celebrity Golf Classic. Katherine Chandler said their two children, ages 7 and 13, are looking forward to living with goats and dogs out in the country. The move seems like a safe bet because "FNL" producers are reportedly close to a two-year extension with NBC and DirectTV. - Michael Barnes I also posted this article under Kyle's family. Thanks for posting this! How fortunate that Kyle and his wife are able to build their own house in a location of their choice! With the suffering economy, I'll bet he's getting a good price on the property and construction, than if he did this a year ago. "Katherine Chandler said their two children, ages 7 and 13, are looking forward to living with goats and dogs out in the country." I don't blame the kids! After living for 16 years in this San Fernando Valley rat-race, goats and dogs out in the country, doesn't sound like such a bad idea! Good for Kyle that FNL will possibly be extended another 2 years on NBC and DirectTV! Good Luck, Kyle!! Thanks again, Faye, for keeping us apprised of Kyle's activities. Steve
