1. I'd like to see the show pushed forward 20 years. I have a few scenarios for 1967. Who would be running Sloan Industries in 1967? Would it be Charley
Haley?...we all know he married Gina, and in 1967 Emma would not be old/mature enough to handle the position, but she would be the rightful heir to the Sloan
buisness enterprises. Would the male children of for example, Charley and Gina, Jeff and Ginger, Ann & Al Kahn's son Mike be involved in the Viet Nam
War?
2. Would Jeff Metcalf be a Korean War Veteran?
3. Who is running Ruperts? Robert and his wife?
4. I like railroad items. It's a known fact that back in the 40's, 50's, and 60's the railroads employed many more people than they do now.
Statisticly, back then 2 of 10 men worked for a railroad. Strange that the creators of Homefront didn't have a character that worked for a railroad.
Also...of all the sound effects heard in the background, I don't remember hearing one steam locomotive whistle or bell in the background. The railroads
that would have served River Run (The Nickel Plate and New York Central) ran steam locomotives until the 1950s, and for all intents and purposes, being a
heavily industrialized town, you would have heard trains in the background all the time. Except for the opening sequence, where were the trains?
5. Many returning veterans of WWII took jobs as Policemen and Firemen, yet River Run had few and they were nasty individuals. (like the ones that beat Robert)
The show was about veterans, but none took a sevice type job?
6. River Run was less than 5 miles from Lake Erie, yet nobody went to the beach or went on a boat.
7. If River Run is located on the shores of Lake Erie, why didn't the writers reflect the heritage and surroundings of the area better? For example...the
area was full of nurseries and grape vinyards, and migrant workers. Many people in the area were employed by the great lakes ship companies.
