"Hack" (1/10/2003) | ||
|
I'm still looking for more, but here are the handful of screen caps I've been able to find of Harry's appearance on CBS' Hack during its first season. Harry played a U.S. Marshall named Wyatt in an episode titled "A Dangerous Game." Now I'm only guessing here, but it looks like Marshall Wyatt may have been a bad guy!

"Sex and the City" (8/15/1999) | ||

Harry O'Reilly appeared in an episode of the HBO comedy Sex and the City during its second season. His character, Joseph Adler, was one of lawyer Miranda Hobbes' co-workers. Miranda accepted a date with Joseph after her gynecologist told her one of her ovaries had stopped producing eggs, and the ol' biological clock began ticking very loudly. Joseph showed his hair plugs off for Miranda to admire during their dinner date. Needless to say, he did not get a second! "Evolution" was first aired on 8/15/1999.

"Oz" (8/9/2000) | ||
|
Harry O'Reilly played a detective gone bad in "Gray Matter," a fourth season episode of the HBO prison drama Oz. Detective Bruno Georgen was convicted in 3/2000 of Illegal Possession and Sale of Firearms as well as Murder in the First Degree. He was sentenced to 36 years. Shortly after Georgen's arrival at Oz, he recognized another detective, Johnny Basil, working undercover as an inmate. Basil feared for his life and the success of his case and, in an effort to prove himself a criminal to his fellow prisoners, killed Georgen by pushing him down a freight elevator shaft. What an exit! Detective Basil was murdered himself later that season. "Gray Matter" first aired on 8/9/2000.

Harry's episode of SatC was re-run on a local cable channel a few weeks ago and I was bummed when his scene didn't seem to be included... I thought for
sure I must have just been distracted and missed it. Well, I realized last night that they're definitely cutting scenes from the program in order to make
it fit the 30-minute time slot. I think it used to run a bit longer on HBO. Harry's scene was cut! It must totally stink - as an actor - to have your
performance cut from the finished product or from a re-run. Especially if it's something you're proud of... Thank goodness for DVDs!

Somebody posted a 40-second clip at YouTube that introduces Harry's Oz character in a flashback:

It will be on TNT friday at 12:30am. I saw him on Law & Order this morning, gray in the temples and about 75 pounds heavier. He was a victim of a
blackmailing woman.
